Welcome to the redesigned Western Voice online!

After decades of distinguished existence as a conventional campus newspaper – evolving through several  formats, from saddle stitch to broadsheet to tabloid – the Western Voice,  now offers a fully interactive online platform, in addition to the paper version distributed around the service area.

Western Voice: Campus Journalism of Arizona Western College, sponsored by the Communications Division of Learning Services (Dr. Linda Elliott-Nelson, vice president), is a product of the AWC Media Arts program.  Most of the content comes from the News Writing and Photojournalism courses, but all programs, organizations, and individuals at the College and in the local community are invited to submit.

The editor for news and photos is currently Pam Black, and the faculty advisor is Dr. Michael Miller.

“Arizona Western College offers educational, career, and life-long learning opportunities through innovative partnerships which enhance the lives of people in Yuma and La Paz counties.”
